Memoirs

When the early evening breeze
broke the sun’s blaze
Sprinkling White and grey hair
I paused and I stayed still
Recalling the fizzes
Filled with memories

The little girl with platted hair
And red ribbons tight
The field where we played
Leaves and florets that we traded
Catching the dragon flies,
Making them pick stones.

Reminiscing giggles
And words unshared
Misty outlines of faces
that brightened with love
Smiles that once shared
In the Echoes of familiar streets

Captured moments
Bringing Joy in hearts
Warming me up from inside
To melt and flow
Drowning me down

Into my deep slumber

BEYOND

Visions beyond my eyes,
I see no imperfections.
Afar from the Buzzes of life,
I hear a silence,
That has never been so loud.
Beneath the gloomy mist,
Of the sea shell,
Dwell all the mysteries.

A real voyage,
Not in quest of lush green meadows,
But with novel eyes,
Plunging deep into my soul,
With a smile that wins,
With a tint that glows,

Unveiling the surprises.
